Hello my name is Christopher Merritt.

I am the Alumni Secretary for the Florida Iota chapter of Phi Delta Theta.  The Brothers of the Florida Iota Chapter would like to cordially invite both you and your family to attend our chapters 5th Annual Alumni golf outing, and to enjoy the company of the brothers of Florida Iota. This event will take place the weekend of May 14th and 15th.

FDQ’s activities for the event will include a family brunch on May 15th from 10:00am -12:30pm that will be held at Olivia’s Café. This Restaurant is at Disney’s Old Key West Resort and offers you and guests the opportunity to meet and converse with other Alumni from the Orlando area as well as active brothers from Florida Iota all while eating traditional home style American dinning Following brunch we will head over to Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course to begin our golf outing.

The golf outing will begin at 1:30pm with a shotgun start. Try to show up a little early in order for everyone to get situated with your outing partners.  You will be paired at random. However if you have a guest or have a request for a partner(s) please submit requests with your RSVP. You will be playing 18 holes all while enjoying the company of our brothers.

T-shirts have been made for you to show your pride in your fraternity back home. We will also be giving away other Phi Delta Theta merchandise as well as selling golf polo’s if you want to purchase them. The active chapter will be selling any extra t-shirts that have been printed that are still in stock from the last year for you to purchase if you chose to.

The cost of this event is going to be $75 per player. This will include your golfing, brunch, and your t-shirt. This event has been made for the Alumni to enhance and excel relations between the Florida Iota Chapter and all the alumni from our chapter as well as in the Orlando area. I know that we all have been separated by distance for some time but this event will give us a reason to come together and celebrate our brotherhood.
